A Builder’s bill is the most convenient way for a builder or subcontractor to price their works in a familiar format; something that traditional Bills of Quantities sometimes fail to achieve. Our main aim is to assist builders in presenting their tender in the most accurate and convenient way, bolstered by the extensive experience and skill of our team in working with local contractors. 

WSQS is happy to lend a hand in setting up a sound estimating system for your contracting or subcontracting business. This can either be an improvement for your existing estimating system or adopting a completely new system. We are happy to set-up and train your team for your successful future project pipeline.

Our involvement in Cost Planning and procurement advice provides the Client to identify budgets & risks associated with their investments prior to proceeding with various stages of the design. If the investment option becomes viable, our service will then continue into further cost planning stages till the tender stage or appointment of the negotiated contractor. 

We prepare Bills of Quantities based on ANZSMM, commonly used in both Australia and New Zealand. Depending on the Client’s requirement we are happy to prepare BOQ’s based on any commonly used international Method of Measurements such as SMM7, POMI, CESMM4 etc. 

WSQS is experienced in delivering post contract cost management services for our clients. This will ensure the Contractor’s invoices / progress claims are checked and approved in timely manner for Client’s payment release. Reviewing and approving variations is another aspect of our post contract cost management. 

There are some occasions that the Client will not receive the best value for money from their construction projects or a project is hindered by budget restrictions. We offer Value Engineering and Value Management services to overcome these situations ensuring the money is spent on right aspect.
